Car crashes into young Qld cyclist

A CAR has hit a teenage cyclist before crashing through a fence and into a house on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

The 16-year-old cyclist suffered facial injuries in the crash at Buddina just before 6am (AEST) on Thursday.

He's in a serious but stable condition at Nambour Hospital, a Department of Community Safety spokeswoman said.

A 22-year-old woman, believed to be the car driver, wasn't injured.
